In a span of 6 days, I finished all four books to The Twilight Saga. Let me tell you, I absolutely love it. I'm not going to put it up on a pedestal, but the love story is something I envy. If you've read the books, then you'll know why. If not, well then it's up to you to find out for yourself. I refuse to be a spoiler!
What also intrigues me is that it takes place in good ol' Washington. All of the cities and landmarks do exist, as well as the native tribes and their legends. I'm amazed that the author stayed true to the facts and legends, and not obscure them.
I wish I can write like that: Take facts and intertwine with a fictional story without obscurity.
Anyway, now that I'm finished with this series... It has sparked in me a new illustrative piece! I will post as soon as it is completed!
I can't wait until the movie is out... I'm a bit skeptical on how it is portrayed in comparison to the book.
I applied to one of the new hospitals last week. Over the weekend, I received calls from my references that they were asked about. They all assured that they said greats about me. This morning, I got a call offering me a position! Hurray!
One problem: I haven't received my certified license in the mail yet from the Department of Health. The hiring pharmacy manager said not to worry and that it takes awhile to get it since the Board meets every 4 weeks. Hopefully, the HR department at the hospital will give the OK in having me train/on-board while we wait for my license to arrive.
I'm so ecstatic! This is definitely a great way to start my week. *smiles*
It's funny how things can change in a span of one night. *sigh* I'm not going into details, but to sum it up: I'm officially single. He's at work, while I'm here packing my stuff and moving out of his place. Although, he keeps texting me that he hopes I'll still be here when he's off work. No, thanks... My mom seemed happy when I told her I'm going to stay with her for awhile. Nothing permanent, just until I get that that townhome I've set my eyes on in May.
I'm going to look at this as a start of something new. With that said, I'm going to set some goals for myself:
Begin my morning exercise regime -- I need to lose the weight I've gained.
Get my websites updated and running the way I envisioned, rather than half-assing it.
I'm torn between cutting my hair and let it continue growing. Short hair: Low-maintenance, and not much is needed to style it. Long hair: I can curl it, tie it up, or put it in a bun... Hm.
I love it when my man fucks me with his eyes to get me in the mood.
I arrange my books by color and then in size, unless they're a set.
One of my resolutions this year was to start a scrapbook -- the materials are still sealed and sitting in a corner of my bedroom.
I used to enjoy kissing girls when I was drunk -- not to get attention from guys, I just liked how they kissed softly.
The last time I kissed a girl was a on 4th of July while "I Kissed A Girl" was playing... And I didn't like it -- It was like she was trying to devour my face. O_O
I went to a Catholic private school from kindergarten to junior high -- and I wasn't so innocent then.
From high school to the first 2 years of college, I used to go out and do some late-night tagging at the overpasses and bridges.
I've made videos with the boyfriend and you will never seen them leaked online.
I am deathly afraid of the clowns from "Killer Klowns From Outer Space" and "It".
If I were to choose a period in time I would rather live in... It would be the Renaissance.
